U12 hurlers host Cashel King Cormacs

Cashel won by a single point in a smashing game of hurling in Bridgefield on a magnificent Sunday. The highlights for me were a great point from David McCormack, couple of saves from Sean Drumm, Mark McCormacks catching and the overall high quality of the hurling. Well done to our parents for returning the hospitality shown to us when we visited Tipp a little while back.

With 5 mins to go to half time there was still no score then Sean Meehan broke through to score a goal and a minute later followed up with a point.

U12bs Qualify for Semi Finals

Our U12b Footballers qualified for the semi finals by beating a very tough Man O War team away. They have topped their group losing just 1 game. This was a great team display and was about effort rather than skill as there was a strong breeze blowing down the hill. Everybody did their job and we managed to win 3.9 to 1.6 . I think our training is starting to pay off as we played against the wind we needed to rely on our support play to move the ball up the pitch. Well done to the players who have worked very hard. Roll on the semi's
