Girls Win Away in Cup
The Senior Girls beat St Marks over in Tallaght on Wednesday evening by 6-8 to 3-8. We were tight on numbers due to a number of injuries and exams but the strength of our squad was evident as the girls really stood up to the challenge. Tracy McCrudden was solid in goals, with Moyno, Catherine and Niamh G tight in defence. Yas (who picked up a nasty hand injury) and Aimee were class in the engine room and the Aherne sisters and Michele racking up some great scores. Well done to all.
Ladies qualify for Championship Semi Final
The girls qualified for the semi finals of the Junior Championship with an excellent and hard fought win over a very game St Maurs at Bridgefield. The final score of 4-9 to 2-5 hides the drama of a second half where we had to defend well as Maurs threw everything as us only to run into a determined defense.

Syls Girls Championship Success Away to Ballyboden
The girls traveled to Ballyboden on Wednesday evening to kick off their championship campaign with a hard fought victory. The hosts had already beaten St Maurs in a 3 team group with the winners progressing to the semi-final. Only a victory would keep the Syls girls in the competition so it was a tough nights work ahead against a very fancied Boden outfit.
