U13 hurlers continue good form at The Bogies

St Sylvesters 6-3 St Finbars 1-6 The U13 hurlers continued their revival in form with a hard earned win over The Barrs in Cabra. The scorline doesn't really reflect how hard we had to battle as the opposition had a number of fine hurlers and were pretty even stevens in general play. Killian Haverty was again superb in goal and the full back line of Jake Fricker, Gavin Mulligan and Dylan McEvoy blocked and hassled as if their lives depended on it and gave great cover to Killian.

Simon Owens clearing his lines

Up front Sam Horan scored his first goal for us, similar to a number he has been scoring for the footballers recently. Paul Ryan and Paddy McIntyre kept their full back line busy while Eoin McCarthy (getting better on the frees and line balls), Eoin Kennedy (playing behind the half back line late in the game) and Hugh Murray were a tough half line. Our half backs, Andy Cunningham, Simon Owens and Paudie White were again the backbone of the team and the Colclough twins, Thomas and Daniel with Josh Nolan have made a major contribution to our improvement in form.
