Sylvesters players in Inter County action
Saturday 18th in Thurles - Ladies National Football League Semi Final and All Ireland U21 Semi Final
Niamh McEvoy and Sinead Aherne will be in action when Dublin play Cork next Saturday 18th April in the semi-final of the Bord Gais Energy National League Division 1. Even though the game is live on TG4 we would ask all Dublin supporters to be there early and support the Jackies. We appreciate the support we have received to date and look forward to more of the same next weekend. Dublin have already beaten the Rebelettes in the league phase by a single point in a cracking game at Naomh MearnĂ³g. The Jackies will have to play out of their skins again if they are to do the double over the reigning champions. They struggled through large phases of the quarterfinal against Armagh while Cork had a comfortable victory over Kerry.
Dominic McDonnell will be in goals for the U21 footballers - 3.30pm I think - again, against Cork.
Fionn Carney, Gregory McInerney and Gary Sweeney will be on duty for the Dublin Minors in the 1st round of the Leinster Championship against Louth on Saturday evening in Drogheda throw-in 7:00pm.
Fingal are playing Roscommon in the National Hurling League on Sunday in Fingallians, Swords at 2.30pm. Four Syls lads should be involved - Alan Morris, Hillary Murray Hession, Conor McCafferty, Andrew Richardson
