Syls host Football Féile Div5
The Juvenile section hosted the Div5 Féile on Saturday at Broomfield with teams visiting from Ballyboden, Kilmacud and Walkinstown. Our own U14b team managed by Padraig Quinn were a little unlucky to lose to Crokes in our first game but lost heavily to Boden in the second game only to recover with a good win over James Gaels in the third. Well done to Padraig, Ernie, Ciaran Meehan, Ursula Higgins, Mary Ryan and everyone who helped and supplied food and drinks.

On Saturday we hosted our own u14 team, Ballyboden, Kilmacud and St James Gaels in the 2010 Feile. The day started at 9am, putting up nets, flags etc.. Many thanks to Ger O Flynn, Kevin and Killian O'Flynn, Panner, John McCann and Padraig Quinn. Also, thanks to Mick Stuart for marking the pitches. The U14 parents did us proud wby putting on a great show, feeding all our guests and of course Syls supporters. Well done to Ursula, Mary and the rest of the gang. Also Liz and Suzanne turned up to allow the parents a chance to cheer on our team. We were unlucky against Kilmacud ,beat St James but can have no complaints against a strong Ballyboden outfit who paid a visit to our club house while they were waiting for Raheny to arrive to decide who would play on Sunday.
It was Ballyboden's day! When it was all over Ger, Ernie and Padraig true to form, turned up to give me a hand to take the nets down.
