St Sylvester’s GAA club notes
Micheál McCarthy made his debut for the Dublin senior team against Carlow in the O’Byrne Cup on Sunday. He scored 4 points including 3 points from play in the first half and a second half free in what was a brilliant performance. Dublin had a 7 point victory and go forward to play UCD in the quarter finals.
Also in the O Byrne Cup, Gary Sweeny played for DCU who had a one point victory over Wicklow and Ross Hazley played in centre field for DIT who lost to Kildare. Nigel Dunne lined out at number 12 for Offaly who had a comfortable victory over Westmeath.
Players should order their tickets for the awards night on 21st January through their team managers. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
