The under 15 football team won their final game before the break beating St Vincent’s by 2-8 to 2-4. From ten games played they have eight wins, one loss and one draw. These results leave this team sitting proudly at the top of division one, a great achievement for both the players and manager Dave Mc Bride.

The senior football team suffered a rare defeat to St Vincent’s losing by 1-12 to 0-8. They still top division one on 17 points from St Jude’s and Thomas Davis on 14 points. It’s interesting to note that they have the meanest defence in the league. Pat Gilroy might also find this interesting.
The intermediate football team lost out to Whitehall in their division 3 clash. They were missing a lot of players who were injured or on holiday.
Both of the under14 football teams had very impressive wins this week. In division 5 the B team scored 2 goals and 18 points to win by a big margin over Naomh Barrog. The A team scored 1-19 to Whitehall’s 1-6 in their division 2 clash. This was their last match before the break and a great performance to finish on.
