St Sylvester’s GAA club notes 13 June

— filed under:

The senior football team reached the final of The Vincent De Paul Cup with a very good victory over Thomas Davis. Despite scoring four goals our intermediate hurlers lost out to St Oliver Plunketts. The junior hurler’s youth policy gave debuts to four minor hurlers and they won both of their games this week.

Martin Ormonde contributed two points in Fingal’s win over Tyrone in the Nicky Rackard Cup.

On Wednesday 16th the senior football team take on St Oliver Plunketts in Broomfield at 7.45. The intermediates play Naomh Fionnbarra at the same time also in Broomfield on Wednesday. Next Saturday the seniors play away to Parnells in St David’s at 6.30 pm

Seanna Reilly carried the pride of the parish playing for the Dublin under 14 girls who lost by a single point to Galway in the All Ireland Final. Seanna will be disappointed with the result but she has a very bright future ahead.

The club sends best wishes to all our players sitting the Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations.
