Simon Owens on Dublin U14 Hurling

Simon Owens playing for the Dublin A team at the Tony Forristal tournament. Dublin won their two group matches, overcoming a skillful Clare team in the first match and running out comfortable winners over Offaly in their second match. This put the young Dubs into a semi-final where unfortunately we came up a bit short against a very talented Kilkenny team. Waterford went on to win it beating Kilkenny by a point in an exciting final. Well done to Simon who put in a huge amount of training in the lead up to this prestigious tournament. Also great credit to Conor Gray, Colm Crowley and all the management team.
