I know these players. Myself & John Stapleton either played with them in the late 70's early 80's or coached some of the younger ones at juvenile level during the same period. Eamon O Toole is not well at the moment and I will send him a copy of this. At first I thought that Eamon was a young Tony Doyle from the same era.

Hello all.....This is Squee now living in Philadelphia. You wanted to know where we are now.
This team is from around 1981/82....I emigrated in March 83 when I was 20. I was one of the founders of the Young Ireland's Gaa club in Philly [1986]. I was the first chairman of the club a position I held for 11 years....I was the manager for 8 years and played in goal for 17 years. We were American league champions 6 times....The team above played Intermediate in the Fingal league....a struggle sometimes but a great building block for teams to come. It was this year we started the U21 team and went win less that season ....however players like Panner and Liam Downey [both very young at the time] learned there trade.....I look back fondly at these times from so very far away.... All the best Squee The team

Hello again....Squee here.....To say this was a very young team is not a stretch. There are 9 players on this team that were also on the first U 21 team. Squee ,Panner, Billy, Lenord, Roachie, Fergal, Paul, Donal, and Tony.....We then adder a few U16 the make up the team.
Also some of the above were still minors.....Squee 1978 Junior B

How are you Squee great to hear from you. I posted a photograph earlier in the year when Maurdi Mahon died and you are in it. It was a match when the junior B team played in Skerries in 1978 and the photograph was in the Drogheda Independent. If you have any difficulty locating this photograph I will send it on to your e-mail address.

Hi Eddie.....I was unable to find the team with Maudie[RIP] in it....if you could email it to be that would be great....Boy the little culchie club from Fingal sure came a long way.....I remember a gang of us knocking on door trying to raise enough money for a deposit on a house that we one day hoped to turn into a club house. We had just raised enough to buy the HOUSE when I left for America......I remember it like it was yesterday...it was March 6th 1983
