Bord na nÓg Notes Monday 30th August
CCC1 Notes:
This Saturday see the resumption of our program of fixtures. The U12 Camaint Finals also take place this Saturday 4th September in Parnell Park. A particular thanks to all clubs who hosted the U12 Leinster Tournament at the weekend in particular to Fingallians who hosted two groups. A Full program of Football fixtures from U8 to U12 resumes on Saturday 11th September.
The next CCC1 delegate meeting will take place on Monday 13th September in Parnell Park at 8pm.
CCC2 Notes:
Important note regarding U15 Football Championship this coming Sunday morning. Can clubs make sure their mentors are fully briefed.
Clubs are asked to note that we are short of replacement referees this weekend, especially for U/15 Football Championship on Sunday and as such they should contact their referee early in the week to ensure his availability. Likewise referees are asked to respond to their appointment text as soon as they get it if they have a difficulty.
Should it be necessary to postpone any U/15 Championship fixture due to a referee shortage the game will automatically refix for Tuesday 8th September at 6.45 p.m.
Extra Time of Ten minutes each way to be played in all Championship games if required.
Championship games are fixed for Sunday at 10.30 a.m. to facilitate those who may be attending the All Ireland Final. Clubs may switch to 11.30 a.m. ONLY by agreement with their opposition AND the appointed referee. NO change will be sanctioned if the appointed referee is not in agreement. CCC2 may change times if pitch availability is an issue for clubs who have official Adult CCC fixtures clashing with U/15 Championship games. In this instance the new time of the fixture will be 11.45 a.m.
Clubs with more than one team at U/15 level are asked to note that under T.O. 2009 any player who takes any part in a championship game for his club’s “A” or first team is no longer eligible to play for his club’s “B” or “C” team in BOTH league and championship/shield for the rest of 2010.
