Vintage Sweeney helps save the Dubs
How can you be vintage at 17 years . . . anybody who has ever seen Gary gliding through a defense will know what I mean. The Dubs trailing by a point, time running out, Sweeney picked up a break near the middle, turned on the after burners and was on the 21 before the Laois lads caught him. Dublin equalised off the free . . . . and won in extra time.

We shouldn't have been in that position. We owned the ball for most of the second half but only had a point lead to show for it. Laois eventually equalised and a wonderful free from the sideline gave them the lead before Sweeney intervened.
Gary scored the first in extra time and I hear we won by a point. He was a bit too quick even for my camera.
