Eoin Fanning is a busy boy

— filed under:

Eoin keeps popping up in the news even though we are in closed season - he won a GAA scholarship for Trinity College, is on the Dublin U21 panel and then he is spotted erecting GAA posts in Trinity College (for the first time ever I believe). Well done Eoin and well done to TCD GAA Club, they have a long and interesting history.

History made as goalposts erected at Trinity

15 January 2010

Gaelic games will be played at Trinity College for the first time in its 418-year history following the erection of GAA goalposts at the Dublin college.

Trinity has been competing in third-level GAA competitions for over 50 years, but has played its matches at other venues in the capital, including the Clan na nGael/Fontenoy and Parnells GAA clubs.

Trinity's footballers are currently preparing for the Trench Cup under former Galway football star and Dublin selector Brian Talty.
