Syls girls do well against Kerry
Great to see our own Niamh and Sinead put in great displays for the Jackies in the comprehensive 5-17 to 1-6 win over Kerry in the Bord Gais National League played in Naomh Mearnog this afternoon. Both girls contributed handsomely to the scoreline with Niamh taking three excellent goals while Sinead scored a total of 1-7. Under 12 Girls Start Well.
The U12 Girls started their league campaign in a chilly Broomfield on Sunday evening with a hard fought but deserved win against Skerries Harps. Syls were stronger in the first half but only were a point up at the break having missed some good chances. The second half was very even but some great defending by our backs kept Skerries out and gave us the opportunity to move forward late in the game and run out four point winners.

I must get some reports on these lads from Brian Barnes, Paul Reinhardt or John Cross, they are a well kept secret but well worth watching both Syls U11 teams.
